Terms of Service

By accessing or using Pixproof ("the Service"), operated by Pixproof ("we," "us," or "our"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

Pixproof is an AI content authenticity detection platform that analyzes images and videos to determine whether they are AI-generated, manipulated, or authentic. The Service includes web-based analysis tools, bulk processing, and (for Enterprise customers) a REST API.

• You must provide accurate and complete information when creating an account
• You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials
• You must be at least 16 years old to use the Service
• One person or entity may not maintain more than one free account
• You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account

• Paid plans are billed monthly through Stripe
• Prices are listed in USD and exclude applicable taxes
• Subscriptions auto-renew unless cancelled before the billing date
• Overage charges are billed at the end of each billing cycle at the published overage rates
• Refunds are handled on a case-by-case basis; contact us within 7 days of a charge
• We reserve the right to change pricing with 30 days' notice

Each plan includes monthly limits for image scans, video scans, and batch sizes. Usage beyond plan limits incurs overage charges. We reserve the right to throttle or suspend accounts that exhibit abusive usage patterns, including but not limited to:

• Automated scraping or bulk submission designed to circumvent plan limits
• Sharing account credentials to exceed per-account limits
• Using the free tier for commercial purposes at scale

• You retain ownership of all content you upload to Pixproof
• You grant us a limited license to process, analyze, and store your content solely to provide the Service
• You represent that you have the right to upload and analyze the content you submit
• We do not use your uploaded content to train our AI models unless you explicitly opt in
• Uploaded content is automatically deleted according to your plan's retention policy (24 hours for free, 30 days for paid plans)

You agree not to use the Service to:

• Upload content that contains child sexual abuse material (CSAM) or exploits minors
• Upload malware, viruses, or malicious files
• Attempt to reverse-engineer our detection models or algorithms
• Use analysis results to improve AI generation tools designed to evade detection
• Resell or redistribute the Service without authorization
• Violate any applicable laws or regulations

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms without notice.

• Pixproof provides probabilistic assessments, not definitive proof
• Detection results should be used as one factor in your decision-making process, not the sole basis
• We do not guarantee 100% accuracy and are not liable for false positives or false negatives
• Results should not be used as the sole evidence in legal proceedings without independent verification

The Service, including its design, code, models, and documentation, is owned by Pixproof and protected by intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or create derivative works of the Service.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Pixproof shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including loss of profits, data, or business opportunities, arising from your use of the Service.

Our total liability for any claim arising from the Service shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.

• You may cancel your account at any time from your account settings
• We may suspend or terminate your account for violation of these terms
• Upon termination, your data will be deleted according to our retention policies
• Sections regarding liability, warranties, and intellectual property survive termination

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated via email or a notice on the Service. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, United States, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Delaware.
